Clarity Offline allows users to evaluate data and prepare methods. This version cannot acquire data and communicate with the directly controlled instruments, but it can share data or even directly access (through LAN) projects of the two above-described stations. With Clarity Offline users are able to work with acquired data on additional computers in the lab or at home.

Overview

The offline version allows users to evaluate data and prepare methods. This version cannot acquire data but it can share data or even directly access (through LAN) projects of the online stations Clarity and Clarity Lite. With Clarity Offline users are able to work with acquired data on additional computers in the lab or at home.It provides all the standard functions of Clarity Software except that it does not allow for both data acquisition and controlling instruments (control modules are accesible for method preparation). The software works with the same files and provides the same outputs (printing and exporting) as the Clarity station. Clarity Offline does not contain printed manuals. PDF version of all documentation is available on the installation CD ROM.

Clarity Offline Software is intended for use as additional offline software that supplements online versions of Clarity software: Clarity and Clarity Lite.

Main Features

Clarity Offline provides all the functions of Clarity Software except for data acquisition and Clarity Control modules.
The software works with the same files and enables the same outputs (printing and exporting) as the Clarity station.

Check the features of Clarity software.

21CFR Part 11 compliance
When used together with Clarity or Clarity EA software Clarity Offline contains all functions Electronic Signatures, User Accounts, Audit Trail, etc.) for compliancy with the 21 CFR Part 11 directive of the FDA. Clarity Offline can be used for offline evaluation in regulated environments.

See the Clarity 21CFR Part 11 compliance status

Networked Solution
Clarity Offline can access files of Clarity software (Clarity, and Clarity Lite) installed on networked computers. This enables offline evaluation of chromatograms, developing of new methods, printing reports.

Fields of use
The Clarity Offline Software is intended as an additional offline software to accompany the online versions of Clarity software: Clarity, and Clarity Lite.

It can be used for example:

Additional PCs in the laboratory
Clarity Offline can access the data of the online Clarity software over a local network.
Multiple users will then be able to work with their projects from distant computers and share access to the Clarity software, which then serves as an acquisition server that is equipped with A/D converter and instrument control.

Education
An additional field of use is in education, Clarity Offline enables students to prepare projects offline and then easily access them from the online version (Clarity) connected to a chromatograph.

Home computer
Clarity Offline can be installed on home computer or notebook giving you anytime access to all your important data.

Examples Of Configuration

The following figures display typical configurations of Clarity chromatography station. Each configuration is described in details including the ordering numbers of utilized parts for easier reference.

One chromatography with two detectors

The HPLC measures on two detectors. Clarity will acquire two separate signals sharing a common timebase (synchronized START/STOP). A resulting chromatogram will contain two signals.Part numbers: C50 (Clarity Chromatography SW, Single Instrument) + U32 (Colibrick USB dual-channel A/D converter).

Four chromatography with one detector each

Clarity is used to acquire data from four chromatographs. Each chromatograph uses single detector, so it is enough to use four channel card. However it is necessary to purchase Clarity Ad-on instruments to be able to acquire data from four separate systems simultaneously. In this case the signals are completely independent.Part numbers: C50 (Clarity Chromatography SW, Single Instrument) +3x C55 (Clarity Add-on Instrument SW) + U34 (Colibrick USB 4-channel A/D converter).

Two chromatographys, one with multiple detectors with one detectors

This example displays a configuration with two chromatography systems (GC + HPLC) where the HPLC system uses multiple detectors. All the detectors attached to the HPLC Instrument will share common timebase (synchronized START/STOP). The GC detector will be independent.Part numbers: C50 (Clarity Chromatography SW, Single Instrument) + C55 (Clarity Add-on Instrument SW) + U34 (Colibrick USB 4-channel A/D converter).

Two chromatographys, one with digital control

This example displays a configuration with two chromatography systems (GC + LC). The GC is connected and controlled via digital interface, using a GC Control appropriate module.Part numbers: C50 (Clarity Chromatography SW, Single Instrument) + C55 (Clarity Add-on Instrument SW) +A23 (GC Control SW)+ U32 (Colibrick USB dual-channel A/D converter).
